How Does Roll Off Dumpster Rental Work?
When you rent a dumpster with Breeding Roll Off Service, we’ll ask you some questions about your project, determine what size dumpster you need, schedule your delivery date, and talk with you about what you’ll need to do before delivery to help our drivers deliver your container safely and efficiently. Each rental period is 14 days, with a $7 per day charge for each day you choose to keep your dumpster after day 14.
How Far in Advance Should I Schedule a Date to Rent a Dumpster?
We’ll always recommend that you book your dumpster delivery just as soon as you know what day your project will begin, so that your dumpster is in place for convenient waste disposal. Breeding Roll Off Service can deliver most dumpsters the next business day, but earlier is always better for booking your dumpster rental dates.
How Should I Prepare for Dumpster Delivery?
Our dumpsters can be up to 22 feet long, so make sure that you have enough space for us to safely deliver your dumpster rental with room on all sides. Most customers prefer we place the dumpster on asphalt or concrete for stability. However, placing it on gravel or grass is also fine. Although, you may want to lay down some plywood to evenly disperse the weight, especially if the ground is soft. We also ask that you ensure your driveway or road is accessible for our trucks and that you provide us with instructions on where to leave your dumpster rental.
Do I Need to Be On Location for Delivery or Pickup?
No. You do not have to be at home or on the job site, but we prefer to have a contact number in case there is a question when the driver gets there. We do recommend you mark out where you would like the dumpster to be placed with cones or paint if you have not given instructions and will not be able to be on site at time of delivery.

What Size Roll Off Dumpster Do I need?
Breeding Roll Off Service offers dumpsters for every size job. Most residential customers rent 30-yard dumpsters. We also offer 15-yard, 20-yard, and 40-yard dumpster rentals. Speak with a member of our team about your specific project size, and we’ll be happy to recommend the right sized dumpster for the job.
What Dumpster Sizes Are Available?
We have 15-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, and 40-yard dumpsters available. When you call, we will ask a few questions about your project to help you choose the best size dumpster.
Being flexible on size can help you get a dumpster delivered sooner in a time crunch. Alternatively, since the 15-, 20-, and 30-yard all cost the same, many customers opt for the 30 to guarantee plenty of space with no downside.
How Do I Pay My Invoice?
The best way to pay is through our customer portal. Please log in to see rental history and securely pay invoices.
Alternatively, you may send a check to our office located at 3941 Federalsburg Highway, P.O. Box 436, Federalsburg, MD 21632. You may also call 410-896-1075 to provide a credit card over the phone. For your convenience, we accept Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Checks.
What Additional Fees Apply?
There is a 7% fuel surcharge, which only applies to the cost of drop-off and pick-up (not tonnage). If you have tires, please place them on top – that fee will vary based on the size of the tire(s). There are no surprises with Breeding Roll Off, and you can calculate your estimated cost online instantly.

How Do You Protect Asphalt Driveways in Summer?
Whether it’s summer or not, we’ll always put a plywood board under your dumpster rental. As part of our damage-free guarantee, we take extra precautions to ensure your property is left exactly how we found it. The plywood is extra handy in the summer when other dumpsters might sink into hot, soft, sun-baked asphalt.
Do You Have Dumpsters Available for Leaf and Yard Cleanup?
Yes – and if you keep your load entirely organic material like branches, limbs, and leaves, you’ll be eligible for a flat rate. Getting dead debris off your lawn is one of the most satisfying parts of autumn – and Breeding is happy to haul it all away.
Can You Deliver a Dumpster in the Snow?
Generally, yes. Our drivers are extensively safety trained and have many winters’ experience under their belts. However, when conditions are extreme, we will have to put the safety of our team first. Give us a call for the most up-to-date information on severe winter weather deliveries and availability.
When Should I Book for Spring Projects?
As any Delmarvian knows, that answer will depend on the year. Sometimes, March is warm, temperate, and ideal for getting projects started early. Other years, it’s still frigidly cold with snow on the ground. Spring can be unpredictable – Breeding can have dumpsters to your door as soon as the next day, in case beautiful weather strikes unexpectedly.

What Can I Put in My Dumpster?
You can put common household and construction debris in the dumpster, including tires*. You CANNOT put anything flammable, toxic, or otherwise considered hazardous material in the dumpster. In addition, we ask that you not put batteries, loose asbestos**, or other harmful materials into our containers.
*If tires are discarded in the dumpster, an additional fee will apply at tipping. Tires MUST be on top of all other debris.
**We will accept certain hazardous materials, like asbestos, when it is properly bagged and labeled. Please call first for instructions.

How Long is the Rental Period?
Our standard rental period is 14 days, or 2 weeks. Beyond that, you may extend your rental for just $7 a day.
Will My Dumpster Have a Door?
Yes! All of our dumpsters have a door. Therefore, you can carry items that are too heavy to throw over the side. The door is located on the end that rolls off the truck first.
